Factions - Suggestions, Bugs and Questions
Suggestions for GW:Factions
1) The Factions PvP arenas need to have a system wherein everytime there is an open slot in the 12-member party for both sides, any player can join in. This will keep the balance of the battle because quitters will be replaced by a new player.
2) On a related note (to quitters), members of guilds that already sided with a faction must not be allowed to join their opposing factions PvP Arenas, to avoid the opposing faction players from joining a battle-match and quit right at the middle to give winning favors to their "true" faction-side.
3) A feature where we can name our "Alliance". Optional feature is the ability to create an "Alliance Banner".
4) "No opposing faction joined....", maybe the battle should be opened to all regions as last resort if there are not much players on the other side in that same region. This will prevent one side always waiting for the opposite side player's to join the Factions PvP Arenas.
Bugs:
1) NPC's "no HP". Most of the time, during the preview event, I keep on encountering NPCs that have no HP and thus unkillable.
Questions:
1) Is the Alliance Leadership transferrable?
2) Is the borderline (blue-red) represents "all" regions or is per region? During the preview event we tested it, it appears that the borderline represents "all" regions.
3) How are "town ownership" computed? We have a vague idea of how it is computed, can some light be shed on this important topic?
I guess that's all for now, thanks.
Oh, and another important thing,
Please reset the "Alliance Standing" for all guilds or better yet, disband all the "Alliance" of all guilds which to our standing are only temporary.
Thanks!

To borrow a Predator-ism, "If it bleeds, you can kill it." If it doesn't bleed, you can still kill it.
I've gotten the damage bonus using Moebius Strike (+30-odd damage when target foe's health is below 50%) during this past weekend. The enemy's health bar is still completely correct; their health just isn't showing. It's still there, though. You beat on them and they'll die.

Hmm, didn't notice that. But that's interesting to know, thanks!

No problem. I actually mis-spoke earlier, too. There's no damage bonus from Moebius Strike when the target is under 50% health. It's actually "if target foe was below 50% health, all of your attack skills are recharged." So that's how you know if your target's invisible health was getting low...when your skills get recharged.

Additional suggestion:
Make the "M" Map show the Faction PvP Arena (resources controlled) similar to the "U" Map.

allow players to remain Totally Neautral, still do most, if not all the quests and not *HAVE* to side with ether kurzic or Luxon...
(i understand, however that *some* of the maps areas should be off-limits to a Neut...their Homeland areas, for example...you would have to belong to that side to be allowed entrance to them.)
i just dont like HAVING to take a side..i hate being forced to in games., since i have to mostly in life, i prefer to be a neut in games....again, i accept that some of the game wold be locked out to me, i can deal with it....
(and i worry that since each acount is an all or nothing guild thing *that is, if one character joins/forms a guild, all characters are now part of that guild on an account* that if forced to take a side, is it Personal, per character, or is it only Guild side?)

A Neutral side can be useful. Probably their allegiance is to the nation of Cantha.
